Hey guys, today Im sending a message to all Internet users(who else but you?) about the stupidity of falling into traps set by viruses or hackers online.
A few days back,a friend of mine(not saying who) got infected by a computer virus from the online instant messaging engine: Windows Live Messenger
The message titled " Haha ur photo 'link'" was sent to everyone in his/her contact list. Never,ever.Never,ever,never,ever,never,never,ever open the link. If they want to show images, WLM has image sharing. Worse of all the file ended in .exe the most suspicious file format ever to contain a virus. Luckily the virus was small scale and my friend managed to halt the virus in its tracks. SO, dont click on any unknown links and dont open any .exe files no matter how good your antivirus is.
